Our Commitment against the Sexual Exploitation of Minors
At Pakareqtampu Travel, we are firmly committed to the prevention and eradication of the Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Children and Adolescents (ESNNA) within the tourism sector. In strict compliance with Peruvian Law No. 29408 (General Tourism Law) and current national regulations, we actively promote a safe and protective environment for minors in all our tourist destinations.
Core Principles of Our Code of Conduct
We reject any activity that threatens the physical, psychological, or emotional integrity of children and adolescents. Our corporate policy is enforced through the following actions:
- Zero Tolerance Policy: We do not tolerate, facilitate, or allow any form of sexual exploitation involving minors in any of our operations, private transport units, or associated hotel services.
- Staff and Supplier Training: Our administrative team, professional tour guides, drivers, and local suppliers are properly trained to identify, prevent, and reject any behavior related to ESNNA.
- Strict Legal Compliance: In accordance with the Peruvian Penal Code, the sexual exploitation of children and adolescents is a severe crime punishable by effective prison sentences.
Reporting and Cooperation
We encourage our travelers, partners, and the general public to report any suspicious activity or situation that puts minors at risk. If you witness or suspect any instance of ESNNA during your trip, please report it immediately to our field staff or directly to the local authorities by calling the National Police of Peru or the official emergency lines.
