Day 1: Cusco – Pisac – Urubamba – Ollantaytambo – Chinchero – Cusco

Detailed itinerary

Day 1: Cusco – Pisac – Urubamba – Ollantaytambo – Chinchero – Cusco

07:00 – 07:30 Hotel pickup – Transfer to the Sacred Valley. We will pick you up from your hotel in Cusco (downtown area) or, if applicable, at Plaza Regocijo between 7:00 and 7:30 a.m. to begin the journey toward the Sacred Valley of the Incas. During the tour, you will be able to appreciate Andean landscapes and the first traditional towns along the way.

08:30 – 10:30 Pisac archaeological site. Our first visit will be Pisac (2,972 m a.s.l.), one of the most important archaeological complexes in the Sacred Valley. You will tour its impressive agricultural terraces, temples, Inca cemeteries, and natural viewpoints. 12:00 – 13:00 Lunch in Urubamba. In the capital of the Sacred Valley, you will enjoy a buffet lunch featuring the best of Andean gastronomy, in an environment surrounded by nature.

13:30 – 15:00 Ollantaytambo – Archaeological complex. We will arrive at the enigmatic Inca town of Ollantaytambo, where you will tour the Temple of the Sun, the Intihuatana, the Princess Baths, and its impressive terraces. This place was the setting for historical battles and preserves Inca urban planning.

15:30 – 16:30 Chinchero – Traditional Andean town. On the way back to Cusco, we will visit Chinchero (3,762 m a.s.l.), a charming town that blends Inca and colonial heritage. Here you will explore the 17th-century colonial church, built on Inca foundations, and tour its agricultural terraces. You will also be able to observe demonstrations of textiles made with ancestral techniques.

17:00 – 19:00 Return to Cusco. The tour concludes with the return to Cusco, arriving at approximately 19:00 hours.
