Day 1: Cusco – Moray – Maras Salt Mines – Cusco
08:00 a.m. Pickup from your hotel in Cusco and transfer to Moray. Today, the Pakareqtampu Travel team will pick you up to begin this beautiful half-day excursion. Morning Visit to Moray. Arrival at Moray, a fascinating archaeological site known for its circular terraces that the Incas used to conduct agricultural experiments, adjusting climatic and altitudinal conditions. Midday Maras Salt Mines. Departure toward the Maras Salt Mines, a spectacular complex of more than 3,000 salt ponds. Here you can see how the locals continue to harvest salt in a traditional way since Inca times. Afternoon Optional lunch along the route. Time will be available for an optional lunch along the route. 16:00 p.m. Return to Cusco. We will undertake the return journey to Cusco, with an approximate arrival at 16:00 p.m. to conclude the service.
