Short itinerary
Day 1: Lima – Paracas – Ica – Huacachina – Lima
- Early morning pickup at your hotel in Miraflores, San Isidro, or Barranco by Pakareqtampu Travel.
- Journey in a tourist bus towards Paracas and a boat tour through the Ballestas Islands to observe marine fauna and the Chandelier.
- Transfer to an artisanal winery in Ica to learn about the production process and enjoy a tasting of wines and piscos.
- Visit to the famous Huacachina Oasis, an exciting ride in buggies, and sandboarding practice on the dunes.
- Return journey in tourist transportation towards the city of Lima in the evening.
Detailed itinerary
Day 1: Lima – Paracas – Ica – Huacachina – Lima
03:30 – 05:00 Hotel pickup – Departure to Paracas. We pick up from hotels located in Miraflores, Barranco, or San Isidro. If your accommodation is outside these areas, we will indicate a meeting point in Miraflores. We will depart in a tourist bus towards Paracas (approx. 3 and a half hours of travel).
08:00 – 10:00 Ballestas Islands – Boat tour. Upon arriving in Paracas, we will board a boat to navigate towards the Ballestas Islands, known as the «small Peruvian Galapagos.» During the tour, you can observe sea lions, Humboldt penguins, and seabirds in their natural habitat. Additionally, we will admire the enigmatic Chandelier geoglyph, carved into the sand thousands of years ago.
12:00 – 13:00 Winery visit in Ica – Wine and pisco tasting. We will continue towards the city of Ica, where we will visit an artisanal winery. Here you will learn about the production process of wine and pisco, the flagship drink of Peru. The experience includes a guided tasting of its products.
14:00 – 16:00 Huacachina Oasis – Buggies and sandboarding. Our last stop will be the famous Huacachina Oasis, surrounded by majestic dunes. You will enjoy an exciting buggy ride and have the opportunity to practice sandboarding, sliding down the sand and living an experience full of adrenaline and unique landscapes.
16:30 – 21:00 Return to Lima. We will finalize the tour with the return journey to Lima, arriving approximately between 21:00 and 21:30 hours at the districts of Miraflores, Barranco, or San Isidro.
