From there, the Pakareqtampu Travel guide will pick you up from the land terminal to take you for breakfast at one of our partner restaurants; soon after, you will be picked up and we will take you to the port of Puno to start our tour. Your departure begins at 8:30 a.m. from the port of Puno heading towards Los Uros. After 30 minutes you will arrive at your destination, you will visit 2 islands, the families will welcome you and teach you a bit about their culture. You will have the option to board a totora reed raft for a 20-minute ride. After 3 hours, you will arrive in Amantani, where the inhabitants will welcome you and take you to their houses where you will stay. You will have lunch with the islanders followed by a short rest, also sharing dinner and spending the night in this magical community environment.<\/p>\n<h3>Day 02: Taquile Island<\/h3>\n<p>After breakfast at 7:00 a.m., we head on a journey of approximately 1 hour towards the beautiful Taquile Island. Upon arriving at the port, we walk about 45 minutes to the main square, where we explore the handicraft centers, famous for their textiles recognized as Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO. Then, we enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before descending to the port of Taquile.
