Today, the Pakareqtampu Travel team will pick you up from your accommodation between 3:30 and 4:30 a.m. On board the transportation, we will have a journey of approximately 2 and a half hours, traveling through typical landscapes of the Peruvian highlands. On the way, we will make a technical stop in the town of Mollepata (2,803 m \/ 9,186 ft), where you will enjoy a buffet breakfast prepared by the local community, ideal for starting the adventure with energy.<\/p>\n<p>07:30 \u2013 11:00 Soraypampa \u2013 Hike to Humantay Lake. We arrive at Soraypampa (3,800 m \/ 12,467 ft), the starting point of the hike. The Pakareqtampu Travel guide will provide you with professional trekking equipment and safety instructions. The ascent towards Humantay Lake (4,200 m \/ 13,780 ft) lasts approximately 1 hour and 40 minutes, with moderate difficulty. At the top, you will be able to contemplate the impressive turquoise color of the lake surrounded by the Salkantay and Humantay snow-capped peaks, considered sacred Apus of the Andes.
